whats up with the proton pack ? , the piece that is supposed to make the stream of energy is welded to the pack and not attached to the end of the cable

the posable backpack has a cable that is posable at the end of the cable there is supposed to be a bit of machinery that isnt there it is seperated from the cable and welded to the body of the backpack
