Does anyone know if the new HD Alien is compatible with Iray renders? The old Aliens need a lot of modifying on surface textures to get them to be so (and even then, the results are not ideal).

Yes and No... All promos made in Daz only second from Poser.
But Daz still terrible in rendering black and white materials...
Usually iray preset wins over default but this time nope..
Its made alien looks tooo diffent from texture, mean it give tooo much green...
So in result have to back to defult Daz shaders..

Ah, a shame! I'll have to save my money, as almost all new DS products are for Iray and I'd need this to be rendered in scenes with them.

I haven't seen any problems with DS Iray rendering black or white surfaces. There are many Iray shaders which are for all colours, including black and white.
