Danny Trejo, although an amazing product, didn't interest me personally and Katy Perry interests me even less. Why not re-set the voting tables after each release?

I agree - I think there's already a morph for Katy Perry out there and there have been a lot of additional celebs suggested since the first vote. We should be focusing on celebrities that haven't been recreated in 3D morph form yet. I personally suggest going with Sophie Marceau, who's just one vote behind Katy in the running - either that or reset the vote completely and start over again now that we have a lot more choices.

i think too there should be a reset of the voting after every finished character and i think the artist should have the chance to say ''yes, i accept to do this character!'' or '' no, i don't want to do this because i can't identify me with that Character!''

Because i think, when the artist can't identify himself with his work, the quality will be less... that's what i think

Absolutely, I agree 100% with that!

So do I. I think for an artist to really produce something worthy of himself or herself, it has to be a subject they can derive satisfaction from portraying. So if the winning celebrity turns out to be someone the artist doesn't like for whatever reason, one is unlikely to see results that one would really want to put into their runtime.

I agree with Clones, it's important that the artist "feels" it to be right. Although I admit, I am very happy that
I could buy the Mexican Butcher. I even asked for it once in private, before I got wind of Forender.
It might be wise also to have some separate votes. When we look at male and female characters, criterias
differ. It's way easier in a vote to decide between Gemma Arterton and let's say, Karen Gillan, than between
Ornella Mutti and Abraham Lincoln. All the same, between "real life people" and "fictional people". How would
I decide between a Krogan warrior and Brad Pitt or Ellen Paige? Now of course, the idea isn't that each set of
vote would lead Clones to produce a character at the same time, that would be insane. It'd be like, four times
the workload. No, I think it would help Both the artist and the fans to narrow down the type of characters which
Clones would be comfortable and/or interested in doing. One here, one there, this one ok, but later, etc...
Or then... Clones decides on a theme and THEN we propose some people. Like, "this month, our theme is
"the ultimate survivor" and then people start to give out names. That one example suggests people like Diesel
as Riddick, Kurt Russel as Snake Plissken... a theme of "Damsel In Distress" would give us Keira Knightley
or Leelee Sobiesky, a theme of "Investigators" would get us Cumberbatch, Brett (As Holmes) Brannagh
(as Wallander), etcetera, etcetera... If Clones decides of a theme, it's more likely that we come up with names
which will hit the sweet spot, rather than just characters pulled entirely out of a hat.

I propose that we should go, for the candidates, with people that haven't already been the subject of V4/M4 morphs. You certainly know this link, www.beammeup.net/blog/3d-celebrities/poser-celebrities-1.php , already , but it's a good way to weed out the ones that have already been done. ("Mexican Butcher" is the latest addition to that list! )You could select the names from the existing poll and go from there.

As for the theme, I propose classic Hollywood movie stars. I've submitted some names of well-known classic actresses to the existing poll a little while back.

Yes, I know this collection . BUT I don't agree with very many presented characters. Some of them - continuous fiction and self-deception . Practically there is no similarity. I don't mean qualitative characters from Odnajdy )). I speak about others....

hm, for categories. you could have Singers/Musicians. that way Katy Perry can be next XD

for other categories, maybe something like SciFi TV Shows, so there could be Jasika Nicole, Katee Sackoff, Gina Torres, Claudia Black... and probably some males too but someone else can list those

Why not have a category that ExtraClones chooses. We then vote for celebs fitting into that category and ExtraClones can choose from say the top 5 or 10?

I do a LOT of commissions and I know how much harder it is to do a subject that doesn't appeal to me, I am sure it is exactly the same for ExtraClones. Give her a little leeway on the characters she works on and I am quite sure we will all benefit in the long run.

There really needs to be some way that we can vote for more than one person at a time. If it comes down to a choice between Sophie Marceau and Katy Perry, I choose Sophia, but my vote has already gone to Gina Lollobrigida and I don't want to take it away from her.

if you have already voted, click the pie chart in the top right twice, and it will bring you to a page with a list of the names with green arrows beside them. the person you have voted for also has a red arrow next to their name. click the red arrow to take your vote away from the person you have voted for, then just click another name to place your vote!

Well I re-voted but sadly for me I wouldn't buy any of the top 10!

I'm watching the latest series of Luther, great stuff. Incidentally, Idris has indicated that there's a strong possibility of a Luther movie looking at his roots.

Some people on here needs a vote, and some don't, i would love to see Antonio Banderas as well a Lucy Liu clone, Sophie Marceau may be acceptable but Rosario would be nice and she comes right behind Sophie. I can also see that Angela Bassett made the list, I would love to see a model of her she is my favorite actress.

Angela Bassett would be cool especially her 90s look, she was so freaking ripped and could have been an action star.

Well, there are over 130 names in the list!!! maybe thats too much.. and i guess nearly nobody got really an overview... of course, everyone wants his own favourite to be the next, but who should realize that? see, its hard (very hard) work for ExtraClones for each character to build..
what i want to say is, that list should be small.. maybe 10 or 15 names for maximum.. so we could have ab better view about it (and whats more important - a better view for ExtraClones)
and yes i agree with KristinF, that ExtraClones should do the final selection (to ensure the characters are ok to build), after its done, all should be able to give the vote for one of ExtraClones ''selection''...
